Studio Policies
Your cooperation and adherence to all studio policies is greatly appreciated as we strive to maintain a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels empowered to pursue their fitness goals with confidence!
We believe creating a fun, safe, cooperative environment is key in providing the kind of community we want to offer at Key Studios & Wellness.
To uphold this environment and maintain the values of our studio, we ask that all who walk through the doors agree to the following studio policies.

Late Arrival Policy
We ask that class participants arrive a minimum of five minutes early to class to secure their spot, set up equipment (if needed), and be able to participate in the warm-up. The studio door will be locked at the class start time, and you will be considered a no-show. Arriving after the start of class distracts other members, the instructor, and skips the warm- up, which is a crucial part of all our workouts.
Safety is our main goal here. We understand that things happen and everyone runs late sometimes, but we are not able to let participants in once the doors lock. We are a small studio in a busy city, and the front doors remain locked during classes for the safety of our members and staff. Please allow yourself ample time to get the studio in order to be prepared for class.
Cancellation and No-Show Policies
We require an 8-hour window to cancel or reschedule a class.
All cancellations should be made through the Key Studios & Wellness App or Website.
Cancelling within the 8-hour window before class will result in a $15 charge to your card on file but your class pass will be returned back to your account.
If you do not cancel in advance, you will be considered a No-Show. No-Shows are subject to a $25 fee and will also forfeit one class from your membership pack.
These policies are in fairness to other members who would like to sign up for a class and to us as a business who rely on filling classes to pay our bills!
We work with members to ensure everyone understands our policies. Exceptions are made for injuries, illness, or other emergencies – please give us a call or email us if you need more information.
Waitlists
We want everyone to have the chance to attend our classes, but for safety reasons and equipment use, we cap our class sizes.
Please treat the waitlist as if you are fully booked for class. If a spot opens, our system may automatically add you to the class up to 45 minutes before the scheduled start time, and late cancel or no-show fees will apply. It is the member’s responsibility to check texts and emails to see if you were added to the class. If you know you can’t attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist prior to the 8-hour window.
You are welcome to arrive and wait to see if space becomes available due to no-shows; however, entry is not guaranteed. If you do not make it into class from the waitlist, you will not be charged and your class credit will be returned.

All membership or account-related questions must be communicated via email. We will not accept such requests via social media channels.
Personal Items
Please do not leave any personal or valuable items in your car during your visit to Key Studios & Wellness. We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items, vehicle damage or theft.
There is a designated area for you to store your items inside the studio during class time. This will help keep the floor clear and your personal items in your sight during class time.
Key Studios & Wellness is not responsible for any lost or left behind items. Lost & Found items will be donated after two months.
FAQ
DO I NEED TO BRING A MAT?
Nope! We provide mats for all classes.
DO I NEED TO BRING A TOWEL?
We provide all sweat towels needed! If you prefer to bring your own, you are welcome to but not necessary.
DO YOU HAVE WATER ON SITE?
Yes, we have a bottle-filling station with filtered water, so bring your bottle!
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS / LOCKERS?
Yes – we have both! If you are showering, please bring your own towel.
WHO ARE YOUR CLASSES FOR?
Our classes are for anyone 18 and up looking for a supportive fitness community. With a variety of formats, we’ll help you get stronger, more flexible, and fit for life. Under 18? No problem—just bring a guardian or someone who is 18+ along with you for your first class!
WHAT IF I’M NEW TO WORKING OUT (or it’s been a while)?
We are excited to start this journey with you! The hardest part is deciding to start. We are passionate about creating a space for all fitness levels. If you are brand new, give us a head’s up so your instructors can set you up for success. Some of our classes require more equipment than others, so we ask that you arrive 5-15 minutes before class starts so we can walk you through what you will need. Our instructors provide options in every single class. There is no expectation that you go all out every time! We want to create a space where longevity is the goal. Our intro offer is a great place to start so you can sample all our classes. Have questions? Send us an email and we can help get you set up for success.
CAN I BRING A GUEST?
Yes! Our Intro Offer and Platinum Membership both come with a free guest pass per billing cycle. If you want to add an additional guest pass or would like to add a guest pass to a different membership, in the app click the class you want to add a guest to and click add guest (bottom right corner). You will need their Name, Email, and Phone Number. If you need any help adding a guest, contact the studio by email, phone, or text message!
CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I’M PREGNANT?
Because all of our classes are held in an infrared-heated room, we don’t recommend participation during pregnancy due to the increase in core body temperature. We’d love to support you in your postpartum journey and welcome you back with open arms when the time feels right.
WHAT IF I’M INJURED OR SICK?
If you have injuries, be sure you are cleared by your doctor to begin a workout regime. Our instructors can provide options and modifications in class, but are not trained to give medical advice.
We ask that you refrain from coming to the studio if you’re sick to prevent the spread of illness.
HOW DO I BOOK AND MANAGE CLASSES?
It’s easiest to manage your classes through our app. On the app homepage, you’ll see all your upcoming classes. To cancel, hit ‘view’ and then ‘Cancel Reservation’. Alternatively, sign in through ‘My Account’ at the top of our website. Once signed in, navigate to the ‘bookings’ tab to view all past and upcoming reservations.
WHAT IS YOUR MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION POLICY?
To cancel your membership, email info@keystudioswellness.com with your reasoning and request to cancel. You must do so 30 days prior to your next auto draft of your membership or you will be charged for the next month. If you cancel your membership and wish to resume later, you will have to sign up again at the current rates. This applies to our founding memberships as well. After cancellation, the founding member rate will no longer be available.
CAN I PUT MY MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD?
We offer one complimentary pause of up to 30 days every 365 days for 3-month membership commitments, and two complimentary pauses of up to 30 days every 365 days for 12-month membership commitments. Pause requests must be submitted in writing to info@keystudioswellness.com at least 14 days prior to the auto-draft date.
A $15 service fee applies each additional time you initiate a pause.
If you request to cancel while your membership is paused, the cancellation will go into effect 30 days after your pause ends and you are still liable if you have one final payment during those 30 days.
WHEN DOES MY MEMBERSHIP ACTIVATE?
Memberships and class packs activate on the date purchase. This must occur within 90 days of purchase. If you need to adjust your activation date, please send us an email.
DO YOU HAVE INTRO OFFERS?
Yes! We offer an Intro Offer of 8 classes in 1 month for $49. This special is available one time only and is reserved for local Auburn residents. The offer activates immediately upon purchase & you’ll have 4 weeks to use all 8 classes.
WHAT IS THE CLASS SCHEDULE?
Our class schedule can be found under the “Schedule” tab above or on our app & instagram! We will update all regularly.
WHAT IS THE BOOKING WINDOW FOR CLASSES?
You can book classes up to two weeks in advance.
